Gift Guides, Dad

I love gift guides.  I really do.  In fact, this is my favorite part about November, I buy all the magazines with gift guides. It’s a problem I know, a real addiction. I’ll spend hours looking at them for inspiration and ideas. So this year I had an epiphany, if you will call it, and decided to make my own gift guides! I’m so excited, seriously. I hope you find them useful too!

So the first gift guide I have decided to make is one for a person we all hold dear, Dad. Here is goes….

4. Original Astronaut Space Pen

This pen is so on my list for things to get Dad.This pen has serious street cred, as the website says: This is the original Fisher Space Pen that was used on the Apollo 7 space mission in 1968 after 2 years of testing by NASA and has been used on all manned space flights since then. Plus you can write upside down, under-water and it doesn't rely on gravity to work--just in-case. ALSO according to a customer review, it can survive the washing machine, which is important if you have a dad like mine. You can get it here: http://www.spacepen.com.

5. Jonathan Adler Pipe Match Striker

This one is for all the pipe-smoking dads out there. It's kind of funky, kind of classic. Features a frictional surfaced base for striking matches. Dad can keep it by his favorite "pipe-smoking" place. You can get it here: http://www.fredflare.com

7. 5-Year Journal

This hardcover journal features the Month and day at the top of each page, 1 ruled page per day, with 5-line entries for 5 years and Pages for 366 days, including February 29.
